I can't open the pdf files?
A ~ IRE's website has many pdf documents. These show the pdf icon. To
open PDF files you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. To get Acrobat free, click "Get Acrobat Reader" under IRE's home page menu. This takes you to Adobe's website. You need to make 3 choices for ~ Language, Connection speed ("dialup" if you have a modem), and Platform (You need to know what version of Windows or Mac OS you have ~ 95, 98, 98SE or XP). Then to download Acrobat click on the red button near the bottom of the page. When saved on your computer, just install Acrobat Reader. You should now be able to open, see and print pdf files.

I have Acrobat Reader installed but I still cant view a pdf file?
A ~ There are several possible reasons why this may happen. You may have a very old version of acrobat, if so you may wish to update by using the link to the left. Your web browser might not have browser integration available. One solution is to right mouse click on the PDF link and choose 'Save Target As..' then choose to save the file to your desktop for viewing by double clicking the icon once the download has finished.
